CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST DECEMBER 2019

Description: The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt, of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. Candidates can apply ‘ON-LINE’ through CTET website www.ctet.nic.in. The candidate should supply all details while filling the Online Form and upload their scanned images of latest photograph & signature. After successful submission of data and requisite fee Candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation Page.

Steps to Apply Online

STEP 1: Log on to CTET official website (check the link below)
STEP 2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.
STEP 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
STEP 4: Upload Scanned Images of latest Photograph and Signature
STEP 5: Pay Examination Fee by e-challan or debit/credit card and net banking
STEP 6: Print Confirmation page for record and future reference.

Things to Remember for Online Uploading of Scanned Images

  • Uploading of scanned Photo and Signature are mandatory.
  • Upload scanned photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
  • Size of scanned photograph should be between 10 to 100 KB
  • Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
  • Size of scanned signature should be between 3 to 30 KB.
  • Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height)

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

  • Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
  • OR - Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
  • OR - Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  • OR - Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed)
  • OR - Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
  • OR - Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*
  • OR - Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET

For Gen/ OBC (Only Paper I or II) ₹ 700/-
For Gen/ OBC (Both Paper I and II) ₹ 1200/-
For SC/ST/Differently Abled Person (Only Paper I or II) ₹ 350/-
For SC/ST/Differently Abled Person (Both Paper I and II) ₹ 600/-
Payment Mode: through Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank E-challan /Debit/ Credit Card / Net Banking
